As San Marcos' original Mardi Gras Krewe, our mission is to bring neighbors together in the spirit of Mardi Gras to enjoy a grand and celebratory family-oriented experience. We love to see the community unite to laugh, smile, and have some fun!

Save the date: Saturday, February 10, 2024

A party will be had on the streets of San Marcos! The parade will begin at 12 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 and roll through the historic districts of San Marcos. A map of the route will be posted as parade day approaches.

The Show Must Go On

It its short history, the parade has seen rain, snow, Covid and glorious sunshine - but regardless of the weather, the community comes out in droves to celebrate what brings us together. Mardi Gras revelers have never let a little rain, or cold, stop their parade.

The Krewe of Okeanos is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that brings people together to plan,
promote, coordinate and present premier events and entertainment showcasing Mardi Gras in San
Marcos, Texas. The Krewe enriches the lives of many people and organizations as we celebrate the
diverse culture and spirit that brings San Marcos together as a community.
